I didn’t open my repair shop because I wanted to compete with the big chain stores—I opened it because I was tired of seeing people taken advantage of.

For years, I watched customers walk into large, corporate auto repair chains expecting honest service, only to leave confused, overcharged, or pressured into repairs they didn’t truly need. Too often, recommendations were driven by sales quotas instead of safety, and explanations were filled with technical jargon meant to intimidate rather than educate. People trusted these shops with one of their biggest investments, and that trust was regularly abused.

As a technician, that never sat right with me. I believe auto repair should be straightforward, transparent, and rooted in integrity. Customers deserve to know why a repair is needed, what their options are, and how much it will truly cost—without fear tactics or upselling.

So in 2010, I decided to do something about it.

Opening my own repair shop was my way of pushing back against unethical practices and putting the customer first again. I wanted to build a place where honesty mattered more than numbers, where recommendations were based on real needs, and where people felt respected the moment they walked through the door.

From day one, the goal has been simple: treat customers the way I’d want my own family treated. Clear communication. Fair pricing. Quality work done right the first time. No pressure. No games.
